The Engel & Völkers real estate company has opened an office in Livingston. 

Engel & Völkers, an international firm based in Hamburg, Germany, has offices in several Montana locations, including Bozeman. The Livingston office, owned by Bret and Polly Anna Snyder, of Bozeman, opened in November in the Albemarle building at 105 W. Park St., Unit 5.

The office is staffed by Supervising Broker Jane Tecca and two sales associate advisors — Chip Lenihan and Elisa Petz. Tecca, a 30-year resident of Livingston who has 13 years of real estate experience, said Engel and Völkers offers a full range of real estate services for sellers and buyers, from residential to commercial, farm and ranch; and even handles things like the purchase, rental and charter services for aviation and yachting. “We focus on the whole gamut,” she said.

There’s a perception that Engel & Völkers deals only in the luxury properties, but that’s not correct, Tecca said. “We are a full-service company, and we can help everybody no matter what their financial situation is,” she said. Tecca stressed the advantages of customers working with an international firm, saying properties listed here have a worldwide platform. She said that while the real estate business generally slows in winter, “it looks like we’re going to have a very good 2019.”

Tecca believes her longtime experience in the business, through ups and downs like the 2008 recession, is important for her customers. “I’ve learned through some of the hardest times in real estate,” she said, adding that because of that she can help guide people. With its technologies, cross marketing potential and data base for buyers and sellers, Engel and Völkers’ customer service is “second to none,” Tecca said.
