Summer in Bozeman and Livingston

Today is the summer solstice. The sound of lawn mowers rings late into the evening as we maneuver maintaining the grass in between rain storms and glimpses of warm sun. The grass literally grows in front of your eyes! Hiking is being enjoyed and adding up in donations to the Gallatin Valley Land Trust Trails Day fundraiser. The rivers are running high while fishing is on the backburner. While hiking is in full swing, remember to be bear aware as well as mountain lion aware. They often hide in the trees and are rarely seen, so just monitor your surroundings. In addition, storms appear quickly, bring layers for longer trails so not to be caught in a hail storm. Now that it is June, the days warm up and last longer, downtown Bozeman comes alive at night with monthly art walks on Fridays, Tuesday evening Farmer's Market and Music on Main on Thursdays. Enjoy!
